Happiness is the result of giving; the more you give, the happier you’ll be. You don’t need a lot of money for that, or, in fact, you don’t need the money at all.
What you need to learn about giving is LOVE.
‘Love FILLS by emptying and EMPTIES by filling’
When people are in relationships, they focus on their lovers to give them more love and hence wait for them, without themselves going all in. As a result, expectations, insecurities, heartbreaks, unbearable pains and gossip- all those things that we hate.
My father keeps offering me his money, and I keep refusing it. The more I deny, the harder he pushes. He feels proud of it. He wouldn’t have felt the same way if I had accepted it. Similarly, I want to do all my work by myself and expect my mother not to do a single thing for me. Knowing that I don’t want her help, she still does it and feels good about it. She wouldn’t have felt that way if I had expected her to help me.
Do you understand what is happening here?
Both people in a relationship are trying hard to give their all and expecting the least from their partners.
It is the intention that matters, not the actual outcomes.
Actual work is still happening, but the intention is making the relationship beautiful.
The love matters, not the lover. The action matters, not the actor.
You love your partner as madly as you can and be proud of it. Period.
It may not be easy at first, but once you get this, it will reflect in everything you do.
This will be the loveliest feeling you will ever have.
Thank you for spending one minute of your life with me.
